– Nigeria, biggest oil producer in Africa

– Gold: ECOWAS has three of the top four gold producers in Africa: Ghana (2nd), Mali (3rd) and Burkina Faso (4th)

– 60% of the world cocoa production: (Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria)

– Cotton: around 850 000 tons production of cotton fiber per year (Burkina Faso, Mali, Benin, Senegal)

– Coffee: 30% of African coffee production (Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana)

– Rubber: 80% of African rubber production (Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, Nigeria)
