West African Business Development Forum

Anniversary of the Forum AFRICALLIA was first launched by the Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2010. The 2020 edition is the 10th anniversary of the forum.
Based on the model of FUTURALLIA which has shown its competency throughout the world, participants at AFRICALLIA have the opportunity to engage in 30 minutes of pre-arranged B2B meetings.
Companies interested in participating are requested to fill out a registration form in advance; with information on their field of work and their center of interest.
Our secured platform give access to guests’ profiles allowing all participants to easily choose their appointments based on their interests. Attendees can meet up to 15 companies in two-days.
AFRICALLIA is not only designed for formal business meetings; guests are also welcomed to attend coffee-breaks, lunches, and dinners in a warm and friendly setting where potential connections can also be made.
A VERY HIGH-PROFILE EVENT
AFRICALLIA is supported by the highest authorities of Burkina Faso. It is the most important international economic event organized by the country. The opening ceremony is placed under the high patronage of the Burkina Faso Head of State.

Other than the B2B meetings, the forum has developed and integrated an original concept called “villages”. Appreciated by many, these villages are networking and exchange opportunities for all attendees. 3 villages are expected this year at the forum:
The Partners Village
The partners village gathers all partner institutions and AFRICALLIA’s big sponsors. It is the ideal place to explore the different challenges related to accessing the ECOWAS zone; to discover opportunities offered by national, regional and international institutions, the sub-regional financial market and how to fund and secure investments, etc.… All present partners would have a stand where they can receive attendees.
The Experts Village
This village has been designed for experts in international commerce and trade (bankers, insurance companies, lawyers with experience in international rights, tax consultants, freight compagnies, experts in transport and logistics…). Participants have a chance to meet different experts, to benefit from their advises, and to easily access their services.
The International Village
This is the place for intermediary entities (chamber of commerce and/or support institutions to private sector) that assist their members and represent a country or a region.

I am very satisfied with all my business meetings. I was able to discuss with one of our partners: the Agency of the Promotion of Investments in Burkina Faso. This will create a new way of sharing technological knowledge while encouraging local investments. I was pleasantly surprised with how well the event was organized. Many events are organized worldwide but it is not always easy to set up B2B meetings. This is what makes AFRICALLIA great.
Of the many forums that I know, AFRICALLIA has the highest rate of renewing participation from France. Participants from the 2010 and 2012 editions came back in 2014 and 2016. They don’t necessarily come back every year, but the rate of renewal is good.
